Poetic Shenanigans

Over the weekend, I met up with a couple of my lovelies at the local mall, where we forced our poetry upon passers by. Oddly, they didn't seem to mind or really notice our ramblings.  We stood in the middle of heavy crowd flow, unabashedly reading our pieces, and most people glanced our way but immediately resumed their own conversations. It was an awkward yet amusing experience. I read a haiku in the elevator, and the following video is a recording of the piece I read while standing in front of Macy's. It's titled "At the Piano."

( I'm so cool now...I know how to use iMovie :P )

If you're interested in reading/hearing the pieces by my beautiful friends, you may visit them here:

  1. So strange to hear a blogger's voice! It, and the poem as well, were lovely though.

I do my best to respond to all comments, but I'm pretty scatterbrained. So if I skip over you, it's most surely unintentional.
Thank you for your sweet words!
