This is the first year I've made resolutions and documented them. I can see why people enjoy it so much. Optimistically laying out plans for the next year freshens and inspires the spirit in a way. So here are my resolutions for 2012 (though I prefer to think of them as goals or little promises to myself).
A lot of this is to do with time management. Being a college student is taxing on personal time. I always promise myself not to allow college to subtract from what I love or to subtract from how many hours of sleep I have each night. Nothing is so important that it should deprive me of my life.
What are your goals for this year? I have a feeling mine will extend far beyond this little list. 2011 was a rather challenging year for me, so I'm sure 2012 can only be better!
You have super cute hand writing and those owls are too adorable! What a lovely blog, Glad I found you so I could follow

I wish all of your dreams and goals to come true this year! I agree- doing more yoga and mastering a healthy eating is probably one of the most important goals to achieve! The beauty does come from the within, so that MUST be the starting point!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kindness, sweetie!
Good luck!

I enjoyed reading these little promises to yourself. the presentation is so charming. one of my biggest goals is not getting school to take away from my life, too. I really want to read more this year, and finally get in touch with my inner yoga :)
ReplyDeleteOh My. Love your hand made promises to self. They have inspired me to create mine to. Very creative and inspiring. I wish you manage to accomplish all of them on 2012 <3. (Practice yoga everyday one is mine too)

Love Your Mood Board - Inspirational xoB
ReplyDeleteThese are great goals! And they look so cute. I just have mine on a list in my moleskine, but I might have to write them out like this.
ReplyDeleteOne of my goals is to do a yoga class, too. I found a friend who'll do two classes a week with me that are run through my college's gym, so I'm really looking forward to that! School sponsored classes are nice because they know when students usually have class and will schedule themselves around that. :)
