As a personal rule, I avoid green and red combinations during the holidays so as not to appear grotesquely cheesy. I thought I had succeeded this year, but after looking at these photos of my anti-Christmas outfits, I realized that I had subconsciously worked in variations of the classic Christmas colors. Alas, I am not a Scrooge afterall.
This first outfit felt like such a success to me. I paired not two, not three, but four different patterns without looking like a Christmas clown. I think that right there makes for some fashion history.

I love that lace skirt!
ReplyDeleteI also avoid green and red usually, but not this year. I wore a green dress on Christmas Eve.

Lovely christmas outfits, i like the lacy white skirt with the cute giraff print top, really feminine and cute! The floral dress with red cardi also looks so sweet and charming. I think with your fabulous style you would still look great with red and green combo. Happy 2012!

This outfit is so perfect and I think it's because of the shade of that cardigan with your scarf. So wonderful.
